This integrative lens is further informed by contemporary neuroscience and neuroplasticity research.

The HWH® approach is trauma-informed and ICF-aligned, providing structure, support, and DIY tools to foster neuroplasticity and meaningful, measurable, and lasting results. Its nested ecological approach supports health across systems — self, relationships, teams, and organizations.

The HWH® assessments are grounded in peer-reviewed science — Bowen family-systems theory, John Gottman’s couples research (bids, repair, the Four Horsemen), Sue Johnson’s attachment work, and polyvagal co-regulation theory — integrated with Dr. Leit’s doctoral research at the University of Texas at Austin (under the supervision of Dr. Deborah Jacobvitz and Dr. Nancy Hazen-Swann, using longitudinal data from their Partners & Parents Project on conversational dynamics and implications across the transition to parenthood).

Each instrument follows a structured psychometric plan: multi-item dimensions, reverse-scored validity checks, Cronbach’s α reliability targets, synchrony & perception-gap metrics, and an initial + retake (T1 → T2) design built for the Agile Wellness™ cycle.

Validation Institute outcomes validation (2022) covers the HWH membership program; full psychometric validation of the newer HSA assessment suite is underway through pilot cohorts, with reliability and norming data published as cohorts complete.
